The National Association of Law Students has petitioned President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo over the recent poor results of entrance examination to the Ghana law school, requesting urgent action to address their concerns.
The Association failed in its initial bid to present their petition last week after the Ghana Police Service used water canon and tear gas to disperse them as they approached the Ceremonial entrance of the Jubilee House.
Leader of the delegation and the Students Representative Council, (SRC), President of the Ghana School of Law, Jonathan Alua, was optimistic that their concerns will receive the urgency it deserves.
Deputy Chief of Staff, Samuel Abu Jinapor who received the petition on behalf of the President, assured the delegation that the President will give adequate consideration to their concerns.
