Story By Michael Okuley in Abidjan

Black Stars coach Chris Hughton has set his sights on victory as he prepares to face Mozambique in the final group game.

Ghana faces the East African country in a battle for survival in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Abidjan.

A winner in this game qualifies for the knockout stage, depending on what happens in the other game between Egypt and group leaders Cape Verde.

According to the manager, the Black Stars are eyeing a longer stay in the competition, hence the desire to win against the Mambas for a smooth ride to the next stage.

“This is a situation we would rather not be in. The performance and the goals we conceded I think the players and most people appreciate the level of performance, especially against Egypt. The players know what it takes to get a result. There are no easy games in this tournament. Coming up against a Mozambique team that needs a win to progress, we need to win at all cost,” Chris Houghton says.

Ghana, is in a critical situation with just a point after two games and must win to dream of making it beyond the group.
