Former Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has condemned the coup in Guinea.
She, however, said she has great confidence in the West African bloc ECOWAS to resolve the situation.
Madam Sirleaf said the setting up of transitional bodies would ensure that the provision of services to the public continues.
The former Liberian Head of State expressed concern at how Guinean President Alpha Condé was treated by the military.
She stressed that the trend of coups in West Africa is worrying and urged the governments to ensure their institutions are consistent with the national agenda.
