Ghana’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, recently hosted the African Diplomatic Corps to Ghana, marking a significant moment during his first evening in office.

In a social media post on his official “X” handle, Mr Okudzeto Ablakwa celebrated the event as a symbol of brotherhood and a reaffirmation of Ghana’s unwavering commitment to Pan-Africanism and genuine African solidarity.

“We renewed our commitment to concrete Pan-Africanism and genuine African solidarity which delivers prosperity and stability for all our compatriots,” Ablakwa stated.

He also paid tribute to the late Sam Shafiishuna Nujoma, an iconic African freedom fighter and the first president of Namibia who passed away on February 8, 2025.

“Africa will unite and the African promise remains alive,” Mr. Ablakwa emphasized reinforcing the collective vision of a stronger and more unified Africa.

This gathering underscored Ghana’s role in fostering regional cooperation and advancing shared goals among African nations.
