Son of Liberia's ex-president arrested over the scandal of missing bank notes

The son of former President of Liberia, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, has been arrested in the capital, Monrovia.
Charles Sirleaf who was arrested last night was a Deputy Governor of the Central Bank during the unlawful printing of close to 104 million dollars worth of local currency.
Justice Minister Musa Dean said Charles was arrested in connection with the Kroll Associates’ forensic report in which he was implicated as being one of those who were involved in the illegal printing of the bank notes.
Mr. Dean said he has 48 hours to charge him in accordance with the Constitution.
