2020 VGMA awards nominees jam postponed

The Annual 2020 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards nominees jam has been postponed, Organisers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), Charterhouse, have announced.

The postponement, according to a release issued by Head of Events & Communications, Charterhouse, Robert Klah, on Wednesday, March 18, has become necessary due to the recently confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ghana, and the national directives on public gathering.

The release said a new date for the Jam, originally scheduled to come off at the Jackson Park, Koforidua, on April 4, will be announced later.

It urged the public to follow measures and directives which are aimed at preventing the spread of the virus.

“We would like to use this opportunity to remind the general public to follow the preventive measures issued by the Ghana Health Service, and comply with Government’s recent directives on Public Gathering, which are aimed at preventing the spread of the virus.”
