Culture Curations, the visionary team behind AfroFuture, formerly known as Afrochella, has unveiled its stellar lineup for its upcoming festival.

The two-day Festival, will take center stage at Accra’s EL Wak Stadium on December 28th and 29th, promising to attract a diverse crowd of African culture enthusiasts.

Launched in 2017, AfroFuture, formerly Afrochella, has consistently raised the bar for musical excellence and cultural celebration. This year, they’ve secured some of the hottest acts in the industry, including the sensational Davido, the UK’s rap phenomenon J Hus, and Ghana’s very own Black Sherif, to headline the festival.

The month of December holds special significance in West Africa, often referred to as “Detty December,” with a surge in travel and celebratory events. AfroFuture is set to capitalize on this festive spirit by offering a unique blend of art, fashion, and culinary experiences. The overarching theme for this year’s event is “Black Unification & Pan Africanism,” emphasizing the unifying power of African culture.

Commencing on December 18th, AfroFuture Festival will kick off a two-week expo featuring wellness sessions, thought-provoking panel discussions, and engaging film screenings. Furthermore, in collaboration with Pharrell Williams’ non-profit organization, Black Ambition, the festival will host an entrepreneurial pitch competition.

It doesn’t stop there; AfroFuture will also introduce a film competition and a dedicated community service day to foster a sense of togetherness and social responsibility.

AfroFuture Festival promises to be a cultural spectacle, uniting music, art, and dialogue in a celebration of African heritage that will leave a lasting impact on all those who attend.
