As the time draws closer, the sweet melodious voice we heard from the beginning is now something Ghanaians do not wish to hear because they feel Afua Asantewaa Aduonum, a Ghanaian lady who is attempting to break the longest singing marathon by an individual should give up already.
The event which is happening at the Akwaaba Village here in Accra has seen a number of Ghanaian celebrities, that is, Media personalities, TikTok influencers, musicians, actors, actresses, comedians, dancers etc show their love and support for her during this tough journey.
To say it was an easy race is an understatement, Afua had to go on more breaks than expected just to get the twenty-six member medical staff from Sonotech medical center to conduct an emergency steam inhalation and also to check her vocal cords.
The crowd came out in their numbers again to show love to their very own, this time around with placards that had words of motivation written on them. Anytime she saw the crowd screaming and waving, she had no doubt she could end the day.
Shatta Wale, Delay amongst others could not hold themselves but to touch the glass she is to show how much they love and support her, that was an emotional moment for Afua as the crowd cheered her on.
Afua has done Two days, Seven hours and 40 minutes at the time the story was written, equivalent to forty-eight (48hours), She needs 57+ hours to break that record set by SUNIL WAGHMARE who is the record holder now.
