Akon’s record label, Konvick Kulture has signed a record deal with Atlanta-based Ghanaian producer and musician Noble Eli Zogli, popularly known as Nektunez.
Music producer and artiste Nektunez confirmed the news of the signing in a post on his Twitter page, on Monday, October 3.

He expressed his appreciation to God on his new journey by saying, ‘Only God Controls My Destiny’.
Konvick Kulture is one of three major recording labels founded by Akon, the others being Konlive and Konvict Muzik.
The “Ameno Amapiano” hitmaker will gain more exposure from the Senegalese-American musician and entrepreneur’s wide-ranging experience in music management, which led to the launch of the careers of global artistes like T-Pain, Lady Gaga, and Kardinal Offishall.
In 2021, Nektunez made a huge entry into the global music space as his production, Ameno Amapiano (Remix), a casual mix he did to the globally acclaimed song by French new-age musical project Era, blew up debuting at number 7 on the Afrobeats US Billboard charts.
The song garnered over 10 billion views on Tik Tok as of February 2022, Ameno Amapiano (Remix) went straight to Number 1 on the Billboard world digital sales chart for a historical 8 weeks, Number 1 on global Shazam, Number 1 song on iTunes in 22 countries including UK, Germany and USA.
Ameno Amapiano Remix also topped the Apple Music charts in 39 countries.
