Charterhouse Productions has announced the schedule for the 26th edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).
Following the closure of the filling of nominations, the final shortlist of nominees would be announced on Saturday, March 15.
This would be followed by a nominees’ jam, which is often referred to as the “TGMA Xperience, on Saturday, April 5, with the event venue yet to be announced.
The main awards gala, which would see various thriving artists honoured for their works, is slated for Saturday, May 3, at the Accra International Conference Centre.
The awards gala will be preceded by a pre-party on Friday, May 2, where nominees and industry players will meet and dine while discussing ways to thrive in the industry.
There would also be a special concert, which would be headlined by the winner of this year’s Artsite of the Year, which would certainly be keenly contested.
The annual National Music Summit, slated for Saturday, June 21, would see stakeholders dialogue on various pertinent issues affecting the Ghanaian music industry.
The countdown to the biggest music night in Ghana is on, and this year’s edition promises lots of thrills and chills as artists are recognized for their musical excellence while celebrating Ghana’s rich music history.
