Ghanaian superstar Black Sherif marked his 22nd birthday on January 9, 2024, with the release of a new single, dubbed ‘January 9’.
The song, a unique tribute to his birthday, was unveiled this noon, adding a fresh chapter to his successful music career that commenced in 2019.
To make the day even more special, industry friends took to social media to extend warm wishes, acknowledging Black Sherif’s rare talent.
Stonebwoy, a fellow musician, went the extra mile, welcoming Blacko with champagne, a serenade, and an exclusive recording session in his home studio.
Black Sherif, known for his 2021 hit “Kwaku The Traveller,” has made a profound impact in Ghana and globally within a short span of less than five years in the industry.
At 22, Black Sherif boasts credits for 65 songs, including features and singles, accumulating an impressive tally of 31 major awards.
Notably, he holds the prestigious title of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards’ Artiste of the Year and recently secured the BET Best Flow of the Year award.
