Bunso Eco Park given facelift

The Bunso Eco Park situated within the Bunso Arboretum in the Eastern Region has been given a facelift by adding some facilities to boost eco-tourism and for revelers to enjoy variety of exciting activities.

The Arboretum which was turned into a Canopy walkway in 2014 has added horse riding, zip-lining, and children recreation Centre to attract more tourists.

In an interview with GBC, Chief Executive Officer of the Eco Park, Kenneth Akuffo Asare said plans are far advanced to add on a wedding reception centre, and tree-house camping for couples.

During a tour of the facility on Easter Monday, revelers made up of children and adults numbering about 600 thronged the facility while observing the COVID 19 protocols.

The manager of the Eco Park, Asare Frimpong noted that the facility can host about 10 thousand people, but has reduced its intake by half due to the pandemic.
