Accra Bar Show 2024: A Game-Changer for Ghana’s Hospitality Industry

The 2024 Accra Bar Show, the first of its kind in Ghana, has set a new standard in the country’s hospitality industry, attracting participants from around the globe.

Held from August 9th to 10th at the Zinnia Event Centre, this free yet priceless event was organized by Bordorvic Concepts and featured a wide array of activities that highlighted innovation and creativity within the bar and hospitality sectors.

Day one commenced with an engaging free sampling session where attendees enjoyed a variety of drinks from different vendors. The event’s energy was further elevated by a keynote address from hospitality expert Caleb Kofie, who emphasized the importance of customer service leadership in achieving excellence within the industry.

The event brought together some of the industry’s biggest names, including Chris Beaney, Leah Van Deventer, and Kojo Aidoo, who shared their insights on creating award-winning bars and bartenders that meet international standards. Educational seminars and masterclasses covered a broad range of topics, such as the future of African spirits and mixology.

Guest bartenders from notable bars like Talking To Strangers showcased their talents through special guest shifts at key venues, including Eniigma and Front/Back, demonstrating the artistry and creativity that are becoming synonymous with Ghana’s bartending scene.
