Ho Expo underway to drive industrialization for development

The Ho Municipal Assembly in the Volta Region in partnership with its stakeholders has launched this year’s Ho Expo at Ho in the Volta Region, with a call on citizens of the area to support the Assembly’s industrialization drive for development.

The Expo seeks to promote tourism, real estate, infrastructure development among other business avenues to build a robust local economy to turn the fortunes of the Municipality around.

The event which is being held at the Ho Jubilee Park is expected to end on September 11, 2022.

Business owners and industries have exhibited their products and services in high hopes for patronage.

Speaking at the launch, the Ho Municipal Chief Executive Divine Bosson was optimistic that this year’s Expo will provide the platform for businesses in the Municipality to showcase their goods and services in anticipation to build the local economy.

He said, ”the Assembly has created the necessary environment for businesses to thrive and called on investors to come on board to harness the business potentials in the Municipality”.

The Chairperson for the Association of Ghana Industries, Volta/Oti/Eastern branch, Dela Gadzanku urged business owners to use the Expo to create networks to expand their businesses in order to transform the region.

Namibia’s High Commissioner to Ghana, Selma Ashipala-Musavyi who was the guest of honour urged the youth in the Municipality to leverage the areas tourism potential to benefit from the African Continental Free Trade Agreement.
