I don’t have friends in the movie industry – Kwaku Manu discloses

Ghanaian Kumawood Actor, Kwaku Manu has disclosed that he has decided not make friends in the movie industry due to ingratitude.

Speaking on the Spectacle on GTV, the vociferous actor recounted  that there have been several instances where his kind deeds have been rewarded with evil.

“ I can’t recall anybody that I have helped that has shown gratitude for my good deeds. I can count 10 people off head who repaid my kindness with evil”, Kwaku Manu told the show host, Hagar Owusu when she asked if he could mention names of people who have shown gratitude for his deeds.

He however maintained that his bad experiences from the movie industry have not stopped him from helping people.

“I have helped many people in the industry. Even though they repay my good deeds with evil, I still continue to help them”, he said.

He  also cautioned people against accommodating those they want to help in their homes.
“I’ve learned from this experience over the years so l always advise people not to accommodate the people they want to help because they might turn their back against them” , he advised.

The Spectacle is an entertainment program which airs every Friday at 8:30 PM on GTV.
