A surprise duet performance by the Makola Kwakwe hitmaker, Tinny, and Stonebwoy at the 6th edition of the Bhim Concert at the Accra International Conference Center on December 23, 2022, was considered a reunion between the two music giants by fans from both camps.
However, Tinny, known in private life as Nii Addo Quaynor has debunked the assertion of being on bad terms with Stonebwoy.
I wasn’t having a beef with @stonebwoy, it is the fans that thought we were beefing – @BardManTinny tells @valeriedanso on #GTVBreakfast pic.twitter.com/9GZrrDxkLK

“I wasn’t having beef with him. I wasn’t having problems with him at all. “It’s the fans who think we have problems, and it’s funny sometimes when I post something and I get a comment like that, I laugh about it,” he explained.
He also took the opportunity to clear the air on his single titled, 2000 which was tagged as a diss song to Stonebwoy.
“The 2000 song that I dropped was not a diss song for Stonebwoy. After I dropped the song and I went to check, it was tagged as a diss song for Stonebwoy on the internet”
Meanwhile, Tinny is on record as having had banter with Stonebwoy over the payment of GH$ 2,000 debt.
In an interview, he expressed his dissatisfaction with Stonebwoy for voluntarily paying for money he supposedly owed a show promoter without his permission.
“I am 100% right to say that. I will be a fool to pay someone’s money without their knowledge. What shows the person is in trouble? Was I there? Have I heard anything from them?”, he argued.
