This morning on the GTV Breakfast Show, popular YouTuber and content creator Bernard Kwadwo Amoafo popularly known as Kwadwo Sheldon, had an exciting chat with host Kafui Dey, on a variety of topics including the challenges, such as taking negative comments, which he used to take personally, but now he owns them, weaponizes them and turns them into content.

In the initial salvo, Sheldon the creator started off the segment by saying “I don’t want to be normal. I always want to say what’s on my mind and ask questions.” Additionally, he also spoke about how he doesn’t want to conform to what society says and challenges the status quo.

Sheldon also spoke on how he used to be very shy before stepping in front of the camera.“ I don’t know what happened to me; maybe some spirit, some spirit of unemployment entered me; then I became very outspoken.”

He mentioned that, “I didn’t know what I wanted to do, so I made something of myself. I didn’t want to wait for the government to come and give me a job.”

On owning criticism and weaponizing them, he said in the beginning there were comments about him that would bash his name online. However, that didn’t stop him and he wanted to make something of himself.

There was a point in time where people would talk about his big head for instance, and how it bothered him quite a bit. He cared so much, he would exchange words with people on platforms but then he realized, “you enable them by exchanging words with them, then they win”. Therefore in a flash of inspiration He coined the phrase, “You head is big” and stopped letting critics get to him.

“Own it and weaponize it”, that’s the catchphrase and to live up to this he transforms negative comments into content. He also said, “If I didn’t have this beard, I would look like a fluorescent bulb or something”.
