Ghanaian highlife musician and entrepreneur, Rex Owusu Marfo, known as Rex Omar, has been appointed as the Presidential Staffer for the Blackstar Experience. This initiative, the NDC’s flagship Culture, Arts, and Tourism programme, aims to redefine Ghanaian identity, attract investments, create jobs, and boost tourism through year-round celebrations in entertainment, arts, and education.
Rex Omar is not only a renowned musician but also an expert in intellectual property rights, making him a leading authority in Ghana.
He has served two terms as Chairman of GHAMRO (Ghana Music Rights Organization), having been re-elected in March 2017.
