Ghanaian Afro-dancehall and reggae musician, Livingstone Etse Satekla better known by his stage name, Stonebwoy has shared that he went with his bodyguard to classes at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, GIMPA for three weeks before he was allowed to attend classes alone.

The ‘Manodzi’ singer revealed that his bodyguard was not okay with the idea of him going alone to class so went with him for three weeks before giving him the chance to go alone.

Still on the topic, Stonebwoy mentioned in an interview on GTV Breakfast Show that his wife, Dr. Louisa Satekla bought and registered the forms for him to attend GIMPA.

According to Stonebwoy, working with Beninese-French singer-songwriter Angelique Kidjo on his song, ‘Manodzi’ was nothing short of amazing and praised her as an amazing woman who offered him advice without him asking.

Stonebwoy also discussed his passion for fashion, which stems from his mother being a seamstress. He alters most of his clothes himself.

The musician emphasized the importance of not rushing into fatherhood and family life, saying, “There are two things no one should rush into: being a dad and a family person.”

Stonebwoy again proudly stated that his kids are more talented than he is and shared personal stories, including winning a visa lottery at 13, being hospitalized for three days at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital after the accident his family went through on the motorway.

Additionally, Stonebwoy showcased his unique style, revealing that he wears grills on his teeth because Ghana to him is not called the Gold Coast for nothing.
