Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale Case adjourned to August 28

The Adjabeng District Court presided over by Isaac Addo, has adjourned the case involving Dancehall artistes Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy to the 28th of this month, for the continuation of the Case Management Conference.

This implies the schedule of proceedings involved in the matter.

The two who have been charged for offensive conduct, had earlier sought leave of the court to be absent from Wednesday’s proceedings, were represented by their lawyers.

The state was represented by Superintendent Emelia Asante.

The Adjabeng District Court is expected to decide on the trial date after the case management conference which ends on the next adjourned date.

On the 22nd of May, the Court admitted Charles Nii Armah, known in showbiz as Shatta Wale and Livingstone Etse Satekla, also known as Stonebwoy, to bail in the sum of ¢50,000.00 each with one surety. They were both charged for issuing threats and using abusive words with the intention to disturb public peace.

Stonebwoy is on an additional charge for displaying a gun in public.
