Daniel, the well-known son of Archbishop Duncan-Williams, has opened up about the reason behind his absence over the past six months.

Revealing that he has just completed a stint in rehab due to struggles with marijuana addiction that nearly derailed his life, popularly known as Dee Wills, shared the harrowing effects of his battle with substance abuse.

During this period of self-reflection, Dee Wills acknowledged the detrimental impact of marijuana addiction on his mental well-being, admitting that it had severely disrupted his thought processes and overall mental state. He emphasized, “The reason you haven’t been seeing me for the past 6 months is because I have been working on myself, and I sent myself to rehab. Six months ago, I realized that I have a problem.”

In a social media announcement marking his return, Daniel, the youngest of the Duncan-Williams siblings, acknowledged the challenging nature of his journey to recovery. He disclosed, “Going through the process, it has been a rough road, but I managed.” Seeking help, he underwent rehabilitation at his father’s facility, Compassion, located in Prampram, Ghana. Despite the difficulties, he expressed gratitude for reclaiming his mental well-being.

Concluding his statement, Daniel affirmed his commitment to this new chapter in his life, pledging, “So I want to promise you, my family, that this is the new road I’ve taken; it is my lifestyle, and I am going to stick to it. Dee Wills, Daniel-Williams is back. Thank you.”
