American RnB sensation, Usher Raymond and Ghana’s biggest dance group, Dwp Academy, thrilled fans with an electrifying performance at the Global Citizen Festival last Saturday, September 24 at the Blackstar Square.

The eight-time Grammy award-winner climaxed the show with his smooth voice, amazing dance moves, accompanied by Ghana’s dance group DWPAcademy, getting the crowd screaming along.
Not forgetting his costume, the RnB icon was draped in all-white attire and a muffler made from a cloth of colourful geometric Ghanaian designs and colours, representing Ghana.
Usher Raymond IV also treated patrons to a surprise by bringing three other music stars from Nigeria to join him on stage.
Usher was the official headline act for the Global Citizen Festival alongside some incredible performers, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, TEMS, Gyakie and others.
The event was hosted by award-winning actor, playwright, and activist Danai Gurira of Black Panther fame, joining her included Berla Mundi, Joselyn Dumas, Michaela Coel, Nomzamo Mbatha, and Sabrina Dhowre Elba.
