Finally it’s all about to go down; the road to the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) 2020 will begin on Saturday, February 29 with the announcement of nominees.
The call for submission of entries for the 21st edition of the VGMA started on January 2 and ended on January 31.
According to Charterhouse, the organisers of the VGMA by the January 31 deadline had received 632 entries.
And after about four weeks of looking through the numerous entries, Charterhouse are now ready to unveil the nominees.
As has been done in previous years, nominees in some categories will be unveiled on selected radio and TV stations and online via a number of social media handles, websites and blog portals before the Announcement Party, which will come off at the Labadi Beach Hotel at 7 p.m.
The reveal will be done hourly from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the order of the unveil is below:

The Nominees Announcement Party, which is strictly by invitation will see performances from some of Ghana’s finest musicians with the evening’s highlight being the grand reveal of the following categories; Vodafone Most Popular Song of the Year, Album of the Year, Best International Act, Artiste of the Year and Unsung Artiste of the Year.
