Professional Photography is becoming expensive as technology advances and it is very important to learn basic tips as to how to take selfies, this will help individuals from always calling on professional photographers for a simple shoot when that could be done with phone, selfie.

Selfie taking can never replace professional photography but can help save cost when it’s something simple for fan.

To take a clear and sharp selfie with your phone, the right combination of light, angle and setting is a key thing to look at before taking a shoot.

Perhaps the first rule of selfie-ing is to pay attention to your lighting.

Almost every selfie taker uses the natural light for taking selfies, it is therefore important to know the rules of light in filming or taking selfies

Professionally, in filming rules, one is not to shoot against the sun-light unless it for a special effect for a special purpose.

1. So, as a selfie taker always remember not to shoot against the sun, always remember to locate the direction of the sun – light, and ensure you are facing the sun, light.

Remember if the sun, light is behind you or if you shoot against the sunlight, the subject will turn up to be dark whiles the background becomes nice and bright – silo wet, which you might not like.

2. The second thing to consider is to turn the camera lens around so you can see yourself in the phone screen. In other words, click on the little camera icon to switch to the front-facing camera.

3. Simply hold down the shutter release button and your phone will take the photo. When you’re content with the number of selfies you’ve shot, pull your finger off the button. If you have one of the newer iPhones, the camera app will then suggest which one(s) you might like best. Choose your favorite(s), and then delete the rest.

As with any camera, it’s important to keep your phone steady when you’re shooting to avoid blur in your photos. Holding the phone with two hands if necessary, slowly spin until you find your best light and keeping your arms in close to your body will help to limit camera shake that is if you have no mini tripod or selfie stick

Now check and control the exposure of your photos on the screen and start your selfie.
