Security analyst, Adib Saani is advocating the employment of personal security detail as one of the ways to prevent the spate of murders in the country.
In an interview with GBC’s Radio Ghana, Mr. Saani said with the spate of murders, it is advisable for individuals who feel threatened not to only rely on their security consciousness, but also engage the services of personal security personnel.
His comments come on the back of the murder of Investigative Journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ key partner, Ahmed Hussein Suale Wednesday night at Madina in Accra.
He however attributed the alarming rate of murders to ineffective investigation.
Mr. Saani advised the police to adopt modern investigative methods in their quest to check this trend.
Touching on a video by Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyepong circulating on social media instructing people to stone and beat up Anas’ partner, Ahmed Hussein Suale, Mr. Saani described it as irresponsible.
He said the police should have invited the MP for questioning on his action prior to the murder. He said Mr. Agyapong must be a key person of interest in the murder of Ahmed Suale.
