President Akufo-Addo has encouraged families to conduct private burials with not more than 25 mourners for their loved ones to decongest the mortuaries.

This he said is becoming a health hazard and could lead to the possible outbreak of diseases.

The President also advised against the dissemination of fake news and stigmatization against persons who have recovered from COVID-19.

He warned that persons caught spreading false information will be held accountable.
