Delegates of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) are voting to elect a flagbearer for the 2020 general election.

The polls started at 7am in almost all the 275 Constituencies across the country.

Seven stalwarts of the party contesting the position of flagbearer are former President John Mahama, Prof. Joshua Alabi, Alban Bagbin and Sylvester Mensah.

The rest are Ekow Spio-Garbrah, Goosie Tanoh  and Nurudeen Idrissu.

The Party says all the necessary arrangements have been put in place to ensure a smooth, free and fair election.

The election process is led by the Electoral Commission and supported by the Election Directorate of the Constituencies and Constituency Executives of the Party.

Meanwhile, the Police Service has warned that any unauthorized security arrangement will not be tolerated.
