President Akufo-Addo has cut the sod for the construction of a three-tier interchange at Obetsebi Lamptey Circle, to be known as the Obetsebi Lamptey Interchange.
The project which will cost 135 million dollars and is expected to be executed in two phases.
The President was optimistic the project will ease traffic congestion on that part of the stretch.
He charged the Ministry of Roads and Highways to terminate the contract of non-performing contractors.
The Minister of Roads and Highways, Kwasi Amoako Atta said his ministry will not compromise on quality.
