President Akufo-Addo has visited staff and students of the Oda Senior High School (SHS) as part of his three day visit to the Eastern Region.
He was impressed with the impact of the free SHS on the lives of ordinary Ghanaians. He urged students to study hard to ensure meaningful lives in future.
The President promised to honour their request by providing them with a bus and other facilities.
The School, which was founded in 1960, admitted 1,128 students under the double track system this year (2018).
Nana Akufo-Addo also commissioned a Science Resource Centre at the Ayirebi Senior High School and a new Police Station for the people of Ofoase where he urged residents to be law abiding.
