Somebody said, President John Dramani Mahama has been swerving people looking for something.

The President had expressed amazement to the crowded quest for appointments in his new administration but said only a few would get the nod. The multitudes factor comes up against the brick wall of the mere sixty the President has set as his ceiling for ministerial appointments.

Reports say, the red-eyed President Mahama is tightening the screws in favour of loyalty and hardwork. He has vowed to give little room for laxity and mistakes, taking cognizance of the unexpected electoral loss in 2016.

Whilst in the eight-year long political opposition, President Mahama lost friends. He was literally abandoned by some comrades. Others remained with him in the boat to persevere in the storm. For those who went to sleep in the party, the careful allocations is a wake up call.

One source said, the leader has cautioned close aides not to interfere in his selections for appointments.

Aside from loyalty and hardwork, the other influencer of his decisions is efficiency. If you are a good material ready to join the struggle towards realization of the objectives of his party for Ghana, you will be considered.
