The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, has recalled Parliament to consider some urgent matters from the recess.
Parliament on March 31 went on recess for the Easter celebrations but the Speaker in a statement said MPs should return on Tuesday, May 2.
A statement issued on Thursday, April 20, 2023, said, “Speaker of Parliament do hereby direct that Parliament shall notwithstanding anything to the contrary, be recalled from recess to sit on Tuesday, 2nd day of May 2023 at Ten O’clock forenoon at Parliament House, Accra to consider urgent Parliamentary business.”
