Members of Parliament from the Savannah and Upper West regions have made a passionate appeal to government to construct the Bole-Bamboi-Wa highway to ensure the safety of road users.
Passengers traveling along the Highway got stranded in September this year after the Bole-Sawla section of the road was washed off by heavy rains.
The road is the only link between the south of Ghana, the Upper West region and neighboring Burkina Faso.
In a press conference, MPs from both sides of the house in the two regions were united in calling for immediate action to be taken to fix the deplorable road.
