Dunkwa Nursing Training and Midwifery Training College admits 653 students

The Dunkwa Nursing and Midwifery Training College in the Upper Denkyira East Municipality in the Central Region has admitted 653 Students to pursue various programmes in healthcare.

The Principal of the college, Mr. David Benjamin Sampson charged the students to be disciplined and uphold the tenets of the profession.

The new batch of Trainee Nurses and midwives at the Dunkwa Nursing and Midwifery Training College will undergo two or three-year training programmes.

The college admitted 107 males and 546 females. The Principal of the college, Mr. David Benjamin Sampson advised the students to take their academic work very seriously so that investment made in them by their parents and other relations are not rendered counterproductive.

The Municipal Health Director of Upper Denkyira East, Mr. Daniel Acorlor encouraged the students to be empathic, humble, and discipline.

He entreated the students to continue to strictly observe the safety protocols in full.
