The Director-General of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), Professor Amin Alhassan, paid a courtesy visit to the ECOWAS Representative to Ghana, Ambassador Mohammed Lawan Gana, on Tuesday, February 12, 2025.
The meeting, held in Accra, focused on strengthening collaboration between GBC and ECOWAS to enhance the Organization’s visibility as it marks its 50th anniversary.
Discussions centered on fostering a strategic media partnership to promote ECOWAS initiatives and improve public awareness of its programs and activities across the region.
Both parties expressed commitment to leveraging GBC’s extensive media platform to support ECOWAS’s communication efforts and future engagements.
The Director General paid the visit with Akushika Aquaye, the Director of Television and Alexander kwasi Adi, Ecowas correspondent of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation.
The visit highlights ECOWAS’s dedication to strengthening regional cooperation through media partnerships.
