The curfew will now be in effect from 11:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. daily, starting Tuesday, March 25, 2025.
In a statement, the Minister urged chiefs, elders, opinion leaders, and the youth in the area to remain calm and use peaceful means to address any challenges they may be facing, emphasizing the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the community.
Additionally, the government has placed a total ban on the possession of arms, ammunition, and offensive weapons within Bomaa Township and its environs. Security agencies have been directed to enforce this directive strictly, warning that anyone found with such weapons will be arrested and prosecuted.
