Minister for Food and Agriculture, Dr. Bryan Acheampong, has handed over 100,000 starter packs to the National Youth Agency for distribution to young farmers.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Acheampong emphasized the importance of engaging young people in agriculture, citing its potential for job creation and economic growth.

The starter packs, which include cutlasses, overall coats, spray machines, wellington boots, goggles, utility hand gloves, and padtillers will be distributed to young farmers from various regions.

This initiative is part of the government’s efforts to address youth unemployment and ensure sustainable food production.

Dr. Acheampong also committed to providing mechanization equipment, such as power tillers and planters, to interested young farmers.
