The Ghana Police Service has successfully apprehended three individuals in connection with a robbery incident that occurred at East Legon in Accra on August 18, 2024.
The arrests were made possible through an intelligence-led operation, which involved a series of coordinated police actions.
The suspects, identified as Isaac Brena Eshun, Peter Amuzu, and Ibrahim Mohammed, were taken into custody on August 21, 23, and 24, respectively. Eshun and Amuzu were arrested in Accra, while Mohammed was apprehended in Tamale.
Upon their arrest, the police recovered several exhibits, including; Two iPhones, a Mercedes-Benz C180, three additional vehicles suspected to have been obtained through illegal means.
Preliminary investigations have revealed that the suspects are part of a criminal syndicate involved in robbery and the sale of stolen vehicles across the country.
“All three suspects are currently in police custody, assisting with further investigations”.
