Vice President Bawumia attends inauguration of Kenya’s President-elect Arap Ruto

Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has left the country for Nairobi, Kenya to represent Ghana at the swearing-in of the President-elect of Kenya, William Samoei Arap Ruto.

Until his election on August, 15, 2022, Arap Ruto served as Vice President of the Republic of Kenya.

A statement signed by the Spokesperson of the Vice President, Dr Gideon Boako indicated that the Vice President Bawumia was accompanied by his wife, Samira Bawumia, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Thomas Mbomba, and other Senior government officials.

He returns to Accra on Wednesday, September 14.
