Volta Regional Minister, James Gunu, has been recognized as the most hardworking Regional Minister in the first quarter of the current President Mahama’s administration. The acknowledgment came during the Evangelical Universal Church (EUC) Easter Thanksgiving service held in Ho.
Mr James Gunu and Ahmed Ibrahim, Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs, represented President John Dramani Mahama at the service.

They presented a cash donation on behalf of the President and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to support the church’s activities.
In his address, Ahmed Ibrahim praised Mr Gunu’s commitment and dedication to the development agenda of the Volta Region. He described the Volta Regional Minister’s efforts as exemplary and crucial to the government’s broader vision for national growth.
