The management of Zoomlion Ghana Limited has firmly denied allegations linking the company to the destruction of property belonging to some Turkish investors, as reported in sections of the media.
The publication claimed “Zoomlion landguards” were involved in acts of violence and destruction. However, in a statement Zoomlion described the allegations as false, misleading, and unjustifiable.
“Zoomlion Ghana Limited does not employ, contract, or engage the services of landguards, nor is it involved in any unlawful or outlawed activities,” the company stressed, adding that it operates strictly within the laws of the Republic of Ghana and is committed to ethical business practices.
As a long-standing private entity known for its collaboration with reputable foreign partners, Zoomlion expressed concern over attempts to tarnish its reputation. “It is both misleading and unjustifiable for any individual or entity to associate Zoomlion with acts of violence or destruction,” the statement emphasized.
Management has called for all grievances or concerns to be addressed through the appropriate legal channels and reiterated its respect for the judiciary in the resolution of disputes.
Zoomlion assured stakeholders and the public of its continued commitment to professionalism, lawful operations, and sustainable development, urging them to disregard what it described as “unfounded allegations.”
The company remains one of Ghana’s leading waste management and environmental sanitation firms, with operations spanning across the country and partnerships with various international agencies.
