The National Blood Service has launched its 2020 National Blood Donation campaign in Accra.
The First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Joe Osei-Owusu said government will continue to support the National Blood Service with resources and infrastructure to facilitate voluntary blood donation.
This will ensure that there is safe blood especially in areas that are difficult to reach . He also called on the media to frequently highlight the importance of blood donation.
