The Director of International Youth Fellowship (IYF), Rev. Young Jun Moon, has expressed his belief that students who participate in The Good News Corps will be better equipped to become tomorrow’s leaders.
He made this assertion when speaking to GBC News at the International Youth Fellowship (IYF) centre in Tema at this year’s Good News Corps Festival held on February 27.
The IYF Director said the multicultural dance event, which brings students from different cultures together, helps them identify and overcome challenges in life.
The event, according to him, helps students develop strong hearts, and such people become tomorrow’s leaders.
He continued that the purpose is to provide the ingredients needed for one to become a good leader. He said the programme provides good hopes, teaching, and news that assist participants in forming good characters.
Rev. Moon expressed his confidence in the students from Ghana to turn this country into one of the best in the world upon completion of the programme.
Again, the Director revealed that the plan of the IYF is to establish more centres in many parts of the country so many people can take part in the Good News Corps Festival.
