The Ghana Police Service has arrested a man who was captured discharging fire arm at the A&C Mall on New Year’s Eve.
The suspect, Flt Sergeant Nicholas Owusu Frimpong was arrested through a collaboration by the Police and the Military following investigations into the incident.
The video, which went viral showed a man firing a gun at the A&C Mall in East Legon on the night of December 31 to supposedly usher in the new year.

A statement by the Police Public Affairs said the suspect is currently being detained by the Military Police, whilst investigations continue.
It urged the public to be guided in their celebration and desist from acts that compromise public peace and order.
