The heavy traffic between Sapeiman and ACP has become a headache for some of the passengers and drivers who use the Accra-Nsawam main road.
The Pokuase Interchange which was officially opened to traffic on July 9, 2021 by the President, Nana Akufo-Addo with the aim of managing the traffic situation needs improvement.
According to some of the road users, the distance between Sapeiman and Pokuase which could take about 20 minutes now takes about an hour and from ACP to Ofankor Barrier which used to take 10 minutes now takes about an hour and 30 minutes.
Others identified that the traffic from Sapeiman to Accra is mostly due to the two lanes between Nsawam and Ofankor barrier.
They therefore call on the government to expand the Sapeiman to Pokuase and ACP to Ofankor roads.
