Four out of six men said to have abducted two class four pupils and took turns to have sex with them for one week have been arrested by the police.
Those arrested are Benjamin Mensah, Vincent Avi, Samuel Otoo and Kingsley Chidi while two others identified only as Seth and Senior are on the run.
The two 15-year-old girls were found in a depressed state and in pain in the room of one of the men who took turns to sexually abuse them at Gomoa Nyanyano, near Kasoa, in the Central region.
They could not walk and were crying consistently.
Police report
The Public Relations Officer of the Accra Regional Police Command, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Mrs Effia Tenge said that the parents of the two girls who are school mates had reported to the Odorkor police in Accra on February 8, 2020, that their children who left their respective homes at Mallam for school at 6:30 am on February 7, 2020, had since not returned home and their whereabouts could not be traced.
The police in their investigations established that the girls left their school unceremoniously whilst class was still in session at about 11 am on the said day and met two of the men Seth and Senior at McCarthy Hills in Accra.
The men took them to the house of one of them where they had sexual intercourse with the girls and left them to their fate.
On the same day, an elder brother of one of the girls saw them loitering at the Mallam junction and questioned why they were not in school during that hour but they absconded when the brother tried to take them home for fear of being reprimanded.
The girls are said to have met the four men who have been arrested and they took them to Gomoa Nyanyano.
Later, the men brought the girls to Kasoa where they took turns to sexually abuse them.
