All is set for the national tree planting exercise scheduled for Friday, June 11, across the country.
Dubbed the Green Ghana project, the exercise is expected to get Ghanaians from all walks of life to individually and collectively plant at least five million trees around marked zones in the country.
President Akufo-Addo is expected to plant a commemorative tree at the precincts of the Jubilee House, at 1 p.m. on the day while the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia; Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin; and other government officials also do same by planting trees at designated points.
