‘99% of documents saved’ in Lands Commission fire

The Western Regional Lands Commission, says about 99 percent of documents were salvaged in the fire that ravaged the office Sunday.

According to the Acting Western Regional Director, Seth Boakye Owusu, all their documents have been automatically backed up on the Commission’s servers.

The one storey-building constructed in 1926, houses the office of the Administrator of Stool Lands and the Land Valuation office.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
