Some members of the NDC in the Ashanti region have been attacked and robbed by suspected armed robbers during their campaign tour of the Afigya Kwabre South Constituency.
The incident happened Wednesday, October 7 night on a portion of the link road from Hemang and Ejuratia.
Among the Campaign Team attacked are the Deputy Ashanti Regional Youth Organiser of the party, Onasis Lobby, some Kwabre East and Afigya Kwabre South Constituency Executives.
Speaking to the media, a prominent member of the NDC in the region, Alex Mould, who is also the immediate past Chief Executive of GNPC said the matter has been formally reported to the Mampongteng Divisional Police while the victims are responding to medical treatment.
