The Ghana Catholic Bishops’ Conference has sympathised with people whose homes have been destroyed by tidal waves in the Volta and Greater Accra Regions.
The conference expressed this sentiment in a communiqué issued after its plenary Assembly in Wa in the Upper West Region. The Bishops said, at this moment of vulnerability of the victims, it is important for the government to take measures to alleviate their sufferings. They hoped the government would mobilise the needed resources for Phase Two of the Keta Sea Defence Wall.
