Family bonds they say can never be broken because of the blood links. The Easter season presents itself the opportunity for families to bond.
Speaking on the Easter Monday edition of the GTV Breakfast Show which discussed the essence of family reunion, Chairman –Tin-Ifa Group Rev. Dr. Nana Yaa Owusu Bempah underscored the need for people to bond with at least one person in their family who truly cares about them and can be trusted.
She said many times people who are doing well in life attract people who may not have their best interest at heart.
Rev. Dr. Bempah said family reunion must be made an annual event for families to mend relationships.
She encouraged Ghanaians to manage their family relationships even in times of adversity and have unwavering faith in God.
“Everybody needs one person in their family they can trust. They are people who are smiling at you right, it is because you’re on TV”, she pointed out.
A Relationship Expert Kwaku Adumatta advised people not to dissociate themselves from the family because it plays an important role in society.
“We tend to be hard towards them by way of cutting them off. But it gives you a good premise for you to really appreciate people around you. I always say that don’t fight the family, don’t dissociate but try and be who you are”, he opined.
